In my opinion, the essentials of peace varies from country to country but as a single slogan, Justice is the main factor" of peace. If there is justice, there is peace. This justice may be in any form. For example, in African countries, due to water shortage, there are conflicts and wars between the tribes and nations.
In Asian countries, criminal activities form the base of conflicts and there are wars. Look into Afghanistan and Pakistan where terrorist activities are the main cause of disruption.
So to define essentials of peace depends on nations and environments.

What Israel is doing is barbaric and should be condemned in anyway.?
The problem cannot be solved by emotions or cursing the Israel. We have to know first why rockets were fired into Israel in the first place? Why way of mediation was not adopted? Why UNO was not asked to resolve the issue? All these questions need the answer.
When you will throw the stones to your opposite, certainly he will not send back the basket of flowers but will send you hard reply than you and this happened in Ghaza.

In my opinion, Hamas are very brave people, but very poor in tactics and war strategy. They started a war themselves without any thing that it will destroy their buildings, kill their people and heavy losses to their country. They never thought about their success in limited resources. The wise thing is that first judge your power, then your enemy power and then attack in such a way, that you certainly get success. What happened in Ghaza, the foolishness of Hammas destroyed their own resources and nation, loss of lives of children and innocent people in Ghaza and Israel. Certainly this was a war of poor strategy of Hammas.
